Parties are what we do! Chalky & Company provides a painting, crafty, comfort of home, girls night, family time, diy, unique home decor, awesomely fun experience! I love all of my customers and have fun at every party that I do. It can be a girls night in, family fun day brunch, co-worker bonding and team building experience, or birthday party. There are so many ways to enjoy these parties with so many different groups of people. Everyone gets to choose their kit, paint it their way adding their personal touch and keep it in their home to display to their friends and family or give it as a gift. I am there to help you learn about the products, techniques and to help in any way that I am able. You don't have to be crafty or crazy talented to complete these kits. That's the beauty of them! Anyone can paint a great Chalky & Company kit.
My first party that I had after joining Chalky & Company was with a girlfriend of mine that I met through book club. She sells Arbonne and so we did a party swap. Win Win! Her party was small; which was great! It helped me ease into the process of being the Chalky Lady without overwhelming me. She and her guests were so fun and their kits turned out great! It was nice quite girls night in.
My second Chalky party was... bigger! It is actually still my biggest party to date. My fun and spunky little sister offered to host a party. She lives about 400 miles North of me, which seems like a long ways to travel for a party but it was worth it! We had fun and she actually earned 2 free kits! Another of our friends booked a show in our home town the same weekend so that it was worth it for me financially to drive all that way.
My sister being the hostess with the mostest did a great job of making this party seamless. She lives in a small home and had several (9) guests so she set us all up outside and decorated each table with a color/theme. She made yummy snacks and even purchased small crafts to keep the kiddos busy while the mommies painted. We had to contend with the wonderful Wyoming wind a few times but the party was a success!
I then held a Chalky party at our amazing store with my fellow vendors/friends. I set up right in the store and we painted while customers shopped. Our paints contain no VOCs so they aren't stinky and can be used indoors.
I have also done a party with friends. My girlfriend Amanda hosted a party and invited both mutual friends of ours and friends of hers that I didn't know and so I made new friends. :-)
After my party at work one of my fellow vendors booked a party with me. We did a Sunday brunch at her house and she cooked a full breakfast for all of us. She also served yummy mimosas! Love this lady! It was really a ton of fun. Her mother, daughter and grand daughter were all there plus a few friends. It was so fun to watch 4 generations of wonderful women/girls paint and party together. Great memories made!
I had one hostess that purchased all of the kits for the party for her MOPS group friends as a way for them to bond and hang out outside of their usual MOPS meetings. What a sweetie pie! This awesome hostess also happens to by my cousin, so I got to visit with family while partying and the cousins got some baby snuggles. Bonus!
I next held a Fall themed family oriented party at our store in The Party Place. I set up a public event on Facebook and invited everyone to come and bring their kiddos. I purchase several wooden halloween masks at Michael's and pre-mixed several paint colors so that the kids could paint a quick inexpensive project while the moms painted their Chalky kits. I had 4 guests purchase kits and several kiddos walk in off the street to paint masks. 3 of my girls also painted masks. My 4 year old painted 3 of them! Family Fun!
As I said before there are so many different types of groups that can utilize our parties. Family, friends, co-workers, strangers that become friends and more. - Chalky & Company Furniture Workshop on December 17 from 3p-6p at Crafts & More. At this event we will be purchasing and utilizing the Chalky & Company Furniture Workshop Bundles to re-furbish a smallish piece of furniture like a chair, nightstand, small table, or rocking horse. I will show you different finishes and techniques using our glazes, waxes, stains, paints, and top coats. Space is limited so contact me now to reserve your spot!
